Riftbound’s fifth set, Radiance, officially launches on October 23, 2026, bringing the spectacle and energy of Runeterra’s iconic musical acts directly to the game. Radiance challenges players to perform at the peak of their powers under the brightest lights. Featuring a lineup of musical groups like K/DA and Heartsteel alongside a colorful cast of new Legends, this 180-card expansion introduces innovative mechanics, new card types, and Riftbound's rarest chase cards to date.
New Mechanics & Card Types
Deploy: A new keyword for Gear cards. Deploy Gear is played directly to a Battlefield and provides benefits as long as it remains there, but if an opponent takes control of that Battlefield, the Gear is killed.
Show Off: Reveal or 'Show Off' a qualifying card from your hand or board state to unlock enhanced bonus effects on the played card.
Disarm: An offensive keyword that reduces the Might of an enemy Unit as you attack. Similar to Assault, each instance of Disarm stacks to increase the Might reduction.
Equipment Units: Following Vendetta's Gear Units, Orianna's Legend effect allows Equipment to become Units. When an Equipment becomes a Unit, it is automatically unequipped first.
Bomb Tokens: A new Token type that leaves small gifts for your opponent (stacking up more Bombs creates even bigger payoffs).
Showcase Treatments & Collectibility
Radiance features all 9 new Legends in artist-signed Overnumbered variants, alongside a special modern fashion lineup for the Heartsteel boys. Special Alt Art cards also return, featuring K/DA champions at standard Alt Art appearance rates. Additionally, Radiance introduces Riftbound's second Ultimate Rare which is significantly harder to find than Unleashed's Baron Nashor at approximately 0.025% of booster packs across the print run, marking the game's first showcase Battlefield Ultimate Rare.
China revealed an additional Overnumbered Seraphine Legend which will be exclusive to Chinese Radiance packs. Below are all 17 Overnumbered cards featured in the set.
